Welcome to me blah blah blah blah blah. Why do I do this? Because I can, this is my gift. What do you want to hear? The sustainability piece? The beauty of supporting local so we can uplift our communities by recycling that dollar instead of watching it go out out out? Life is beautiful and when we take the lives of animal for human consumption, we owe it to their sacrifice to use all parts to nourish and sustain our greedy selves. The way we choose to interact with plants, to wildcraft and cultivate, taking only what we need and using what we harvest with gratitude and intention. Our bodies are a beautiful home for our spirit and the earth provides for us, unconditionally, with love. That’s the spirit behind lipid haus. A handful of simple ingredients, sourced as close to home as we can manage, chosen with care rather than convenience. Honoring nature’s abundance and gift of life through the production of animal fat based medicinal plant products sourced locally, packaged minimally and available regionally.

Is this where I write about lipid haus? call me grumpla. when it comes to personal health, tending to our skin is an integral part of personal health and an expectation. it has less to do with vanity and is a form of respect, self-respect. in the same way i’d give up my seat for an elder or someone with a disability on public transportation, i try to care for the first home i have been given on this earth, my body. my body is a beautiful home for my spirit. why not make it a place spirit wants to stay? it’s like taking off your shoes before you go into a non-farm house, it makes sense. am i going to capitalize and punctuate?
